George C. Stewart, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully December 29th, 2008. He was a member of AM Moose Lodge, the Millersville Masonic Lodge, American Legion Post 495, and the Eastgate Christian Church. He is survived by his sister Delores Summers (husband Wayne), nephew Dan Summers (wife Caroline), niece-in-law Joy Stewart. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon J. Stewart and nephew Dale Stewart. Visitation will be held at American Legion Post 495 on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 1-4pm.Masonic and American Legion Ceremonies will begin at 3:00pm. Donations may be made to the Humane Society or Ruth Lilly Yellow Rose Foundation.

My heart is saddened by the loss of a very dear POGO friend online.I have known George for the last 5 years and had lots of nice times spent with him in the POGO rooms playing the many games he played,as that was a very nice time he had with many friends online and passed the time for him each day and night. I will miss him dearly as many will and know that he will be in Heaven with his wife now.My prayers and thoughts are with each and everyone of you, family and friends,and wish that all goes well for you this week. A very dear friend from Maryland bids him a safe and happy journey home now,where there will be no more suffering for him.I will be thinking of you this week and you all take care, God Bless you all.
